Från CAS till utsmyckat!

Hej!

Hos En Liten Butik har vi Crazy birds tema den här veckan. Mina kort kan du se imorgon torsdag den 26/5.
Förra veckan var temat CAS ( Clean and simple) och jag gjorde det här kortet.

At En Liten Butik we have a Crazy Birds theme going on and my cards will be shown tomorrow  the 26 of May. Last week we had a CAS theme and I made this card.

I helgen satt jag och gjorde massor av studentkort och ett blev så här. Sån skillnad på kort men jag gillar båda stilarna.

This weekend I made a lot of graduation cards and one of them looks like this. A bit different from the CAS style but I like both styles.

Till det första kortet använde jag die och mönstrat papper från Lawn Fawn .
For the first card I used a die and pappers from Lawn Fawn.

På de undre bilderna använde jag mönstrat papper från Maja Design, Grattis die från Roxstamps.
For my second card I used papers from Maja Design and a Grattis die from Roxstamps.

An Easter card

Got these new cute stamps from a German company called Createasmile and wanted to use them on a card. Found a sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and knew that I wanted to make an Eastercard.

A love card

I broke my foot two weeks ago so haven't been able to create so much as I want. But I am getting better and are now working on some ATC cards that I will show you later on.
Made this tiny little card for a challenge on FB. It is 7,5 x 10 cm if I remember it correctly. The love diecut comes from PapperSmooches and the heart is a diecut from Spellbinders.

Week 120 :Sea

Over at CASology the word is sea this week. Since I am into making Christmas cards I made one that fits with the theme this week. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn and a Swedish Merry Christmas stamp from YouDo.

Here is a close up. I used a black Wink of Stella glitter brush on him.

CASology Week 113: Grass

Made another card today, this time for the CASology Challenge: Week 113:Grass. I was going to do a one panel card with a the dog and the grass in one panel but I messed it up and then I didn't have the energy to make another one like that, so this is how it turned out.

The grass is a die from Lawn Fawn and the clouds too and the dog comes from Simon Says Stamp.

CASology week # 112

Today I made a card for CASology and week 112. The cue card is three. Since my niece turns three on Wednesday I obviously made a card for her. I was going to diecut a three but somehow I made this card. I was shaking so much when I made this card that I am surprised it turned out as well as it did. The shakings is a side effect from my antirejection medicins.

I used the Hello Sunshine stamp set from Lawn Fawn and I colored the birds with distress pens. The balloons I stamped with dye ink from WPlus9, Flamingo and Ocean Drive. And the Swedish Happy Birthday stamp comes from K-design.

Lovely leaves turned into lovely feathers

The Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge has a lovely inspiration photo this time, and I got so inspired that I had to make a card for it. I started yesterday but it took so long time for the card to dry before I could finish it so that is why I am entering it in the last minute.

 

I was so inspired by the colors that I used nearly all my red distress inks to make the background on watercolor paper. Then I sprayed it with Mr Huey's mist called Shine that made the card shimmer. I don't have any leaves stamps but I found some feather dies from SSS that I gold embossed. The stars also comes from SSS and I diecut them out of a black glitter papper from DCWV. And the Happy Birthday stamp is also from SSS.

It was really difficult to photograph this card and the colors are not right, well I hope you like it anyway.

I am alive!

Yes I know it has been too long since I showed you anything, but I am alive and kicking I just haven't felt like blogging.

But I have some good news I have been accepted as a regular DT over at En Liten Butik !!!  And to celebrate this I am showing you some cards I made for them in August. I have learned this technique from the wonderful and talented Laura Bassen.

The stamp comes from Simon Says Stamp and the butterfly diecut  on the card belove also comes from them.

A cup of Java or many...

I am back on track, just had a minor setback and had to go to hospital again ( boring but necessary). Feeling a bit tired but I have managed to make two cards this weekend. The first one I did for CASology week 109, and the cue word JAVA. ( But I actually prefer tea instead of coffee.)

I used stamps from Unity Stamps that I got in a monthly kit and finally got to use. I colored with copics.

Homework for Day 5

Finally I managed to make another card for the OCC Stretch Your Stamps 2. I am so behind in the class due to a busy life. Like yesterday I was in the hospital doing tests for my one year check up of my new heart. Have to do so many more test in the next weeks, so I am glad I am used to doing tests and being at the hospital, sometimes it feels like my second home or my workplace:)

This card is a CASE of Shari Carroll's card in Day 5 that was about outline stamps. I have used the same stamps that Shari used and it comes from Clearly Besotted. I tried to color with Prisma colors but only had this light green color and the wrong paper I think.

More homework

Today even though I am so tired, ( a sideeffect of one of the antirejection medicins I am taking ) I managed to make a card for Day 3 of Stretch Your Stamps 2. Debby Hughes showed us how to stretch alphabet stamps and she used an alphabet stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Milo's ABC. And it might be the first time that I have a stampset they using in the onlinecardclasses. Wow!! I kind of CASED Debby's card.

 I can never decide which photo I like the best so again I am showing you two nearly the same:)

It doesn't show so well but the word on the cloud is happy.

I used a small stencil from Heidi Swapp, I stamped the words with ink from Simon Says Stamp and I also used distress inks. The balloon die and the happy die comes from Simon Says Stamp and the stars from Studio Calico.

Week 1 -Day 1 and card number 3

Ok you might get bored of me today, but I made a third card. This time it is made of the same bit of watercolored background stamp like the previous card. I think I might have went overboard with the pearls though. The tag is a bookmark tag from SSS.

I also made a card inspired by Kristina Werner and her technique of watercoloring background stamps. So I made this using a die from Simon Says Stamp that I never had used before. The hello die is from Lawn Fawn.

I used glossy accent on the hello die to make it shine. I put on two coats.

Another hippo card

Tag You're It and CAS(E) this Sketch have joined forces this time and are combining their Challenges.

The card I made for their challenge looks like this:

I have used papers from Pink Paislee and their Hello Sunshine collection and the cute stamps and the tag comes from Lawn Fawn. I really liked this challenge and might do another card that looks completly different.

On the cutting edge

I found another new challenge blog called The Cutting Edge. The Cutting Edge Challenge Blog is all about die cutting and since I have a couple of dies I thought this challenge was perfect for me. Their Challenge # 5 is soon closing and I am glad I finished the card on time.

A tag

There is a new challenge blog called Tag You're It  and it's all about making Clean and Simple tags. For this challenge which is number 2, the talented Laura Bassen is the guest designer and has made a gorgeous tag.

I embossed a background stamp from Hero Arts with white embossing powder and then I used similiar colors as Laura used. The leafs is a die from Hero Arts and the hello a die from SSS that I put two coats of Glossy Accent on ( but you can't really see it).

I also enter this card in Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  that ends soon and the theme is emboss it.

Made a rain card in the heat

Hi!
Here in Sweden we have a heat wave right now and the fan is going in our house but it doesn't help much. But even though it is hot I got inspired to make a card by several challenges. All the stamps comes from Lawn Fawn, I used three different sets ( Year Four, Hello Baby and Hello Sunshine).

I colored the duck and the umbrella with distress inks and I also stamped the "Oh Happy Day" with distress ink to get a more wet look.

I was inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch  and it looks like this. I turned the sketch around.

I am also entering this card in Less is More challenge, week 181 where the theme is "Singing in the rain", 

and last but not least in LawnFawn's Challenge Blog called Lawnscaping where the theme is watercoloring.

Hippo Birdie To You!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge is celebrating their 1 st Anniversary! The theme this week is Anything goes. I want to join in the fun and have made a card inspired by the photo. I was inspired by the square's in the bookcase and the white, pink and turquoise colours.

CASology week # 102

Made a card for CASology's latest challenge with the cue word "FLOAT". I stamped some feathers from Waltzingmouse stamps with distress ink that I sprayed with water before I stamped  them. The text stamp comes from Clearly Besotted.
