Coloring with distress markers

On Day 6 Jennifer McGuire showed us how to color an embossed image with the use of some kind of glitter  water. Somehow that slipped my mind so my image doesn't have any sparkle, but next time I will try to remember to use it. I used a stamp from Momas.

I am not so found of coloring with distress markers but I gave it a go and I used these markers: worn lipstick, spun sugar, wild honey, vintage photo and peeled paint. But I love the result!

Day 4, Watercolor stamping

Today I will show you some more cards I have made for the Online Card Class "Watercolors for Card Makers". First I will show you a card inspired by Jennifer McGuire. I made two cards , the first one I used blue watercolor paint to make the rectangle.

For my next card I did the same technique but I used several distress ink colors. Then when it was all dry I embossed the text stamp with gold embossing powder from WOW.

Day 2, Card 3

Jennifer McGuire taught us a technique with rubber cement. I found masking liquid/fluid (maskerings vätska) in the art store that is basically the same. Tried it today on a flower from Momas. This card is very tiny so I didn't have any room for a greeting.

CASology week:92

Over at CASology this weeks cue card is garden and I tested a technique that I saw over at Jennifer McGuire's blog. I dabbed distress ink ( Mowed Lawn) over a stencil from Simon Says Stamp and then I dabbed it again with the same colour, but this time I had a net over the stencil. It makes a cool effect.

I also enter this card in Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge that has the theme clean and simple.

The Distress ink bleed technique

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog has a new challenge called Animal Antics and it means that you should make something with an animal on it. And simce I am in love with my new stamp from Penny Black I used it again. But this time I coloured it with distress ink. I also did a distress ink bleed technique on the text stamp that comes from Hero Art. Of course it is from the wonderful Jennifer McGuire that I learned about the technique.

 My daughter Ella who is nine also coloured the little cutie, but with inktense pens.

Challenge # 28 Be inspired by a Hero artist

A Blog Named Hero has a challenge right now to be inspired by a Hero artist, and I was inspired by Jennifer McGuires's christmas card with the new stamp made by Shari Carroll, so I guess you can say I was inspired by two Hero artists. I was so inspired that I actually made two similiar cards! Don't know which one I prefer. I used papers and a stamp from Bildmålarna and some scraps.

Another card for Maddy

Jag har gjort ett till kort till Maddy. Hon är värd att få fler tycker jag. Jag har använt mig av mina nya stämplar från Simon Says Stamp och mina nya Hero Arts dynor i läckra färger. Kortet är ett CASE ( copy and steal everyting) av Jennifer McGuire.
